This course is designed to prepare students for entry into the commercial real estate field by exposing them to the fundamentals of commercial real estate finance and economics, and then through the application of those fundamental concepts using actual practice scenarios on a variety of property types they are likely to encounter. It will provide a strong grounding in basic concepts that will help students who intend to pursue higher designations such as CCIM. It will also prepare agents who are interested in moving their field of business from residential to commercial, or residential agents who occasionally take part in commercial transactions.

Historic Home Specialist: Unique to San Antonio is the second course in the Historic Home Specialist series. We will discuss various preservation topics that make San Antonio unique.
Some classes will focus on property research. We’ll talk further about how to research and share the history of a home. This course will demonstrate how to access resources that can establish a construction date, identify previous residents and owners, and more. We’ll take a deep dive into building research so that you can be a valuable resource to your clients and uncover San Antonio history.
Other sessions will focus on wood window repair. Wood windows are a character-defining feature in San Antonio’s unique historic neighborhoods. By learning the basics about the material and anatomy of wood windows, you can highlight the quality and benefits of keeping historic wood windows. Learn the terminology, tools, and techniques behind stripping, patching, refinishing, and reglazing.
After completing the course, you will be able to advise your clients and promote the value of wood windows.

This is the second course in the Historic Home Specialist certification issued by the City of San Antonio's Office of Historic Preservation. Over 10,260 properties are designated historic. Become a certified expert and increase your clientele!

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS include completing all three courses totaling 6 hours and passing the online exam issued by SABOR.

Mastering Market Statistics is designed to equip real estate
license holders with the knowledge and skills necessary to
understand, interpret, and communicate residential housing market
statistics in a professional and ethical manner. Participants will

sales price, average sales price, days on market, list-to-sale

This is the final and third class in the Historic Home Specialist series.

The City of San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation (OHP) highlights the importance of promoting and protecting the unique historic structures, archaeological sites, and design features of San Antonio. REALTORS® learn regulations, processes, and programs to better understand historic properties and accurately guide clients when buying or selling.

Continue to become a historic house specialist and preservationist by getting out into the community. Learn more about preservation projects and the approval process. OHP staff and instructors will show you the mission of OHP in action at the Historic and Design Review Commission hearing.

This is the last course for Historic Home Specialist designation, issued by the City of San Antonio's Office of Historic Preservation. Over 10,260 properties are designated historic. Become a certified expert and increase your clientele!
